I love watching documentaries, as you may already gathered. So I will keep you up to date with any relevant programmes surrounding fashion topics.
Firstly, last nights new series 'China: Triumph and Turmoil' focused on government issues. I found the discussions Niall Ferguson spoke about where very complex, however I do believe this series will take a while to get into, I haven't ruled it out just yet and yes it has already been SKY PLUSSED :)

Another new series starting on Thursday 9pm Channel 4, is very much focused on British Fashion is: 'Mary's Bottom Line'. Well known retail guru Mary Portas is in Greater Manchester to set up a new production line for British-made knickers; helping the unemployment figures from rising.
Mary is an individual that I do admire, with her out spoken attitudes regarding the British High Street and the diminishing trades due to budget super stores and e-retail.
I have recently referenced Mary and David Cameron's joint venture to save the British High Street within my report, created for Uni. I am please to announce that my report will be published in a Journal within the next 12 months, further details of this will be posted when I know more :)
